Baby No. 2 is almost here! Pregnant Vanessa Lachey stepped out with her baby bump on full display over the weekend in Los Angeles. The soon-to-be second-time mom looked cozy in a cream-colored cashmere sweater, skinny jeans, and booties.
Black and white and red all over! The star looked chic in a two-tone shift paired with a bright blazer and Gucci heels in NYC.
During a recent interview with American Babymag, the TV host shared parenting tips she wished she had known while pregnant with her first child, 2-year-old son Camden. “You may not have an instant bond with her bump,” Nick Lachey‘s wife told the magazine in their December/January issue.
“While pregnant with my son, Camden, I felt guilty because everyone told me about this love I’d feel, and I wasn’t there yet. I remember asking Nick, ‘Is something wrong with me? I’ve wanted this my whole life, and I’m forcing myself to have those feelings,'” she admitted. “For me, the love really flowed when I found out the baby was a boy. That’s when I could finally bond, once I knew ‘it’ was a him.”
“She’s confident that he’ll [ask for her hand] when the time is right,” a source once told Us. “They want to try out the living-together thing and if it goes well — which it will — he’ll pop the question.”
Now pregnant with a girl, Lachey’s wife adds that parents shouldn’t stress. “Worrying is a waste of time,” she told the mag. “Once Camden was born, certain fears calmed down. I no longer thought, ‘Will I be able to do this?’ My instincts really did kick in. We stumble and make mistakes, too, but that’s what learning is. That’s the beauty of it.”
