In August we said goodbye to Robin Williams the man, and on Dec. 19, his fans will see his final role hit the big screen. In a new trailer released for Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Williams, who committed suicide at the age of 63 earlier this year, reprises his role as Teddy Roosevelt.
The third installment of the film also features the late Mickey Rooney, who passed away from natural causes in April at the age of 93.
It has been five years since Night at the Museum 2 was released in 2009, and this sequel finds Ben Stiller’s Larry Daley struggling to help his museum pals when the ancient tablet that brings them to life gets damaged.
Williams had a particularly close connection to one of his Museum costars, Crystal the Monkey. In July, he celebrated his last birthday with a visit from the trained animal, posting a picture to Instagram with his furry friend.
“Happy Birthday to me! A visit from one of my favorite leading ladies, Crystal,” he wrote at the time.
