The emotional actor, 34, expressed gratitude toward the AMC show’s creator Vince Gilligan, his partner in crime Bryan Cranston, and the rest of the cast. He ultimately ended his speech giving his wife Lauren Parsekian Paul a special shout-out.

“To my wife, my God, thank you for marrying me,” he said. “Thank you for dedicating your life to spreading kindness across the world. We all appreciate it. If you guys don’t know what she does, look up Kind Campaign. Do yourself a favor, look up Kind Campaign.”

In the audience, Lauren looked touched at the mention of her organization, which is dedicated to ending girl-on-girl bullying. However, within minutes of Paul’s comment, the website (www.Kindcampaign.com) went down due to a traffic overload.

The site stayed down through Tuesday, Aug. 26, but managed to shed light on the cause. Kind Campaign co-founder Molly Thompson celebrated Paul’s win with a party at home, captioning a photo on Instagram of the event with, “Not only did @glassofwhiskey WIN as he is so incredibly deserving of this and every award for his genius work!! But he also gave the most amazing, heartfelt speech ever with the sweetest, KINDEST shout out to @laurenpaul8 + @kindcampaign.”
