He stands! Gwen Stefani shared a rare and incredibly adorable photo of her youngest son Apollo via Instagram on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
In the black and white snapshot, 45-year-old Stefani smiles for the camera to the left with her bleach blonde hair and smoldering eye makeup. Her 8-month-old son, wearing a cool black leather jacket and sweats, beams in the photo as his little fingers grip a metal cuff bracelet. “Hangin’ @nbcthevoice,” the show judge captioned the cute pic.
Baby Apollo shares similar features to his rocker dad Gavin Rossdale: The cutie has deep brown eyes and lips shaped after the Bush frontman, and has inherited his mother’s tiny nose. His best feature are his chubby little cheeks that make him resemble a cherub.
After all, the No Doubt singer has previously called Apollo a “miracle baby.” While speaking with Seth Meyers on Late Night this past September, the celebrity mom of three — Kingston, 8, Zuma, 6, and Apollo — said that her eldest son relentlessly prayed for another sibling. “He has a direct link to God, basically,” she said of Kingston’s wishes coming to life. Several days later, the proud mom debuted Apollo at the 2014 US Open in NYC.
Stefani spoke to Us Weekly at The Voice week one live show about balancing a full-time gig and three sons. “It’s a lot, there’s no way to balance it, somebody suffers every day, you know,” she confessed to Us. “It’s really a challenge. I don’t want any moms out there to think that I’m doing it right because it’s so hard. Tonight is movie night with my husband so we planned that, and I’m just trying to pace myself so I can stay awake.”
The ever-honest singer added that sleep was a luxury. “Sleeping? I try to sleep as much as I can!” she joked. Meanwhile, “the idea of going on a treadmill” was no longer a reality, she told Us. “At this point, I’m waking up through the night, nursing the baby, trying to find time for the other kids, it’s craziness in my world.”
