The clip opens with a movie trailer within the trailer set in Asia, panning over a city at night. Leading into shots of nightclubs and debauchery, the old favorites from the eight seasons of the show are introduced.

Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) is shown facing off against legions of armored police officers as conflict picks up and a voiceover is heard saying, “Sadly, all good parties must come to an end.”

“Lloyd!” agent Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) screams for assistant Lloyd Lee (Rex Lee) as he pauses the over-the-top preview. He then addresses Vincent, Eric “E” Murphy (Kevin Connolly), Johnny “Drama” Chase (Kevin Dillon), and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), berating them for the work they did in the futuristic film.

Ari goes off on Vincent for going $15 million over his $100 million budget, to which the movie star responds that he only agreed to the budget so he could direct the film in the first place, but had no intention of keeping the agreement.

Against scenes of the boys cruising the California streets, riding around in convertibles, partying on yachts, getting into trouble with women, and Ari losing it, fresh faces make their debuts to the franchise, including Billy Bob Thornton, “Blurred Lines” video hottie Emily Ratajkowski, and Haley Joel Osment.

While Ratajkowski plays herself, Thornton and Osment appear as a father-and-son pair named Larsen and Travis McCredle. Other returning stars include Perrey Reeves (Melissa Gold), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Sloan), Rhys Coiro (Billy Walsh), and Constance Zimmer (Dana Gordon).
