Words can’t bring her down! After Valerie Bertinelli spoke out against Christina Aguilera on Watch What Happens Live last week, the pop diva, 33, took to Twitter on Friday, Nov. 7 to post a rare photo of herself in the recording studio. 

“In more important news…,” the cheeky Voice coach captioned the photo.

After welcoming her daughter Summer Rain in August with fiance Matt Rutler, Xtina has been hard at work on her new music. The former Mouseketeer’s seventh album Lotus underperformed when it was released in 2012, and she didn’t even take time to tour. But she has high hopes for her new project.

Christina Aguilera made headlines this week after Valerie Bertinelli dissed her on an appearance of Watch What Happens Live.

“New baby. New Music. New season of @NBCtheVoice. Bringing #FireAndFun to all, can’t wait for 2015!” Aguilera tweeted in mid-October.

Bertinelli’s WWHL appearance on Nov. 5 put the “Beautiful” singer’s name in the headlines last week when the Hot in Cleveland star, 54, said Aguilera once “gave me the cold shoulder” at a Van Halen concert.

“I thought ‘Bitch, I’m a fan. You can’t be nice to me?'” Bertinelli recalled.
