Hey, at least she remembered their anniversary!
Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on Thursday, July 11. The country singer wrote a special message to her longtime love via Twitter, but ran into trouble when she forgot something very important—his handle!
The 31-year-old American Idol alum first tweeted at her beau using the incorrect handle @mikefisher. She quickly fixed her mistake, however, and the rest went off without a hitch!
"Four years ago today, I married my best friend. Happy anniversary @mikefisher1212 The best is yet to come and I can't wait!" Underwood sweetly wrote.
The NHL player, 34, returned the sentiment. "Hard to believe its 4 years ago today @carrieunderwood and I were married," he wrote. "Best thing I've ever done. I Love her more now than ever!"
Underwood and Fisher tied the knot at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga., in July 2010. "There was a lot of eating [and] a lot of drinking. It was a big party!" an eyewitness told Us Weekly at the time.
Baby rumors have followed the twosome since they said "I do," but Underwood has usually stuck with the same response—they simply aren't ready.
"We're good. I'm super busy and he is super busy. We are still newlyweds," she told Us at an American Idol results show in May 2012. "I honestly think that if we brought a kid into it would mess things up right now! We're good right now!"
