Kim Kardashian Says There Will Be No Kardashian-Jenner Family Christmas Card This Year: “We Ran Out of Time”

Kim Kardashian told Glamour UK that her family won't be sending out their annual Christmas card this year

It'll be a blue — or at least much less entertaining — Christmas without them. Every year around this time, the Kardashian-Jenner family dresses up in their finest formalwear and hires a professional shutterbug to photograph them for their now-infamous holiday cards. The poses and backdrops vary, but the resulting pictures are always glitzy, glamorous, and a little over-the-top, just like the stars themselves.

Last year's card, for example, was shot by celeb photog David LaChapelle and featured the Kardashian-Jenners — Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie, Kris, and Bruce (but no Rob!) — posing in a futuristic, casino-type setting. And four years ago, in 2010, they emulated Dynasty's Carrington family in a glossy staircase snap.

This year, though, the reality TV clan "ran out of time," Kim told Glamour UK when asked what the plan was for their annual card. "I think this is the first year that we're not doing our card," she said. (Perhaps not coincidentally, it's also the first year since Kris and Bruce filed for divorce.)

Instead, Kim told the mag, "what we're going to do is, at our Christmas party we have this amazing photo booth, so we're going to do like a compilation and do a New Year's card. So we're all going to get together at the beginning of the party and make sure that we all get photos together and do this whole thing."

It won't be as elaborate as their usual photo shoot, of course, but it's better than nothing. "We're kind of sad, [but] we just couldn't get it together," Kanye West's wife, 34, said. "And where is everyone? Y'know, this one doesn't want to be in it, this one does want to be in it, so who knows…"

In any case, there's no shortage of Kim photos to obsess over. The latest comes courtesy of Paper magazine, which revealed its new cover on Tuesday, Nov. 11. The viral image shows Kim oiled up and baring her world-famous butt for the camera.
