That face! Seven-month-old Grace from East Petersburg, Pennsylvania, beat out more than 180,000 other adorable babies and has been crowned the newest Gerber baby.
The pic of the too-cute-for-words little girl was submitted by her parents, who will receive a $50,000 prize, one year of Gerber baby food and the opportunity for Grace to appear in a future Gerber advertisement as the 2015 Spokesbaby.
“The photo that won was taken only 5 photos from when I started taking pictures of her that day,” Gabrielle, Grace’s mother, said in a press release on how she captured the cutest-ever winning photo. “She must have taken her hands out of her mouth and posed them like that for a split second because I didn’t even realize how cute she was posing until after I was completely done taking pictures and looking back at what I had just taken!”
“While many of the entry photos this year met our criteria, Grace’s captivating charm stole the judges’ hearts,” Cassie Savage, Marketing Specialist at Gerber, added of their decision to crown little Grace.
The mini-model and her mom Gabrielle also stopped by the Today show on Wednesday, Jan. 21, and when Billy Bush, who was filling in for Kathie Lee, took her away from her mom to hold her, she didn’t even cry!
“Are you having thoughts of stealing a baby?” Bush asked Hoda Kotb, who replied: “This is the one.”
