Oh, the good genes! Rachael Leigh Cook is pregnant and expecting her second child with husband Daniel Gillies, the Perception star's rep confirms to Us Weekly.
"We're as happy as we were surprised by this wonderful news!" the couple tells Us in a statement. "We haven't slept since 2013 and welcome advice from all parents who survived Two Under Two."
Cook, 35, and the Originals actor, 38, tied the knot in August 2004 and welcomed daughter Charlotte in September 2013.
"It's a girl. The tiny new empress of my everything. She's immaculate. We're delirious," the proud dad tweeted at the time. Us broke news of the baby girl's name the following month.
Back in March, Gillies shared some of Charlotte's sweet milestones. "She's the greatest thing ever. I don't know what to say. I get to see her about one day a week because of the show. I fly home every single weekend to see her, and she's heaven," he told Us at Paleyfest in Hollywood. (Gillies plays Elijah Mikaelson in The Originals, which films in Atlanta, Ga.)
"I can't describe what it's like to look at her, to hold her. She's just a happy, beautiful kid," he added. "Honestly, any guy who's lucky enough to have a daughter is a king."
