Talk about comfort! After saying “I do” at her Beverly Hills pad on Jan. 5, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden jetted off to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for a romantic rustic-chic honeymoon on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
According to a source, the newlyweds hit up causal southern eatery Q Roadhouse and Brewing Co. during their getaway and pigged out on hush puppies, fried chicken, and jambalaya.
Shortly after returning back to the West Coast, Diaz and Madden met up with his brother Joel Madden and wife Nicole Richie for brunch at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills on Sunday, Jan. 25. Along for the date were Richie and Joel’s kids Harlow, 7, and Sparrow, 6.
“Cameron looked really good, her and Benji were really cute together,” an eyewitness tells Us of the couple at brunch.
During an interview on Watch What Happens Live, wedding guest and Diaz’s BFF Gwyneth Paltrow gushed about their nuptials. “Everyone felt warm and happy and it was a very beautiful night,” the Goop founder revealed.
Diaz and Madden got engaged in December, just seven months after they first stepped out together. It’s the first marriage for both.
“Cameron hasn’t been this happy in a long time,” an insider previously told Us of the actress, who famously talked down marriage in the past. “Benji swept her off her feet,” another pal says. “She found someone who knew how lucky he was to have her. Benji would do anything for her. She’s madly in love.”
