Jim Halpert’s pranks continue! John Krasinski melted hearts once again when he crashed his wife Emily Blunt’s acceptance speech during the 2015 Critics’ Choice Awards in L.A. on Thursday, Jan. 15.
Dressed in a red Emilio Pucci dress and Jimmy Choo shoes, Blunt made her way to the stage after snagging the award for Best Actress In An Action Movie for her work in Edge of Tomorrow. But before she even began speaking, the Office alum came out from behind stage to surprise and congratulate her.
“He’s presenting next!” Blunt, 31, explained after smooching her hunky beau, 35. “Sorry, ruined that.”
The Into the Woods star went on to thank her costar Tom Cruise and how fantastic it was to not be “a damsel in distress in an action movie” before gushing about Krasinski.
“Finally, to my sneaky husband, John Krasinski, for being okay with the fact that he was married to a veiny, sinewy wrestler for the duration of this film,” she told the star-studded crowd, including pals Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. “And also coming up with my favorite line ever, which was, ‘I’m terrified I’m gonna wake up one morning and you’re benching me.’ Which I did, just to kind of freak him out.”
