Yikes. Donald Trump’s former butler Anthony Senecal wrote in a series of Facebook posts obtained by Mother Jones that he wants President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton killed. Trump’s campaign team has since disavowed the man, and the Secret Service is investigating his threats.
In the disturbing posts, Senecal refers to Obama as a “Kenyan fraud,” opines that he “should have been taken out by our military and shot as an enemy agent in his first term” and that he should be hanged for treason alongside Clinton, whom the former butler refers to as “Killery.”
“[W]ith the last breath I draw I will help rid this America of the scum infested in its government — and if that means dragging that ball less d–k head from the white mosque and hanging his scrawny ass from the portico — count me in !!!!!” one of the 84-year-old’s posts reads. “Stop the LYING BITCH OF BENGHAZI, NOW—killery clinton !!!!!! She should be in prison awaiting hanging !!!!!!!”
CNN reached out for comment on Thursday, May 12, and Senecal confirmed that he did indeed write the scathing, racist posts. The man also clarified CNN’s wording, commenting: “I think I said hung. Either way, I don’t care. Hanging, shooting — I’d prefer he’d be hung from the portico of the White House, or as I call it, the White Mosque.”
Senecal took things even further in a phone interview with NBC News. Not only did he stand by his opinions, he called the president’s daughters, Malia and Sasha, “rent-a-kids.” “They don’t even look like him,” he said. “There’s no notification of their birth. I haven’t seen a baby picture yet.”
And he didn’t stop there. He told NBC that he thinks Muslims have “totally disgraced” some U.S. cities. “We need to bomb ’em out,” he told the news outlet, suggesting that the country designate Detroit and Milwaukee as “nuclear bomb sites.”
Senecal worked as a butler for Trump for nearly 30 years until he announced his retirement. The GOP frontrunner then appointed him as the in-house historian for his massive Mar-a-Lago Estate in Palm Beach, Florida, in 2009.
“[Trump] wouldn’t fire me over this,” he told NBC.
According to the businessman’s campaign, Senecal no longer works with Trump.
“Tony Senecal has not worked at Mar-a-Lago for years, but nevertheless we totally and completely disavow the horrible statements made by him regarding the President,” campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks told CNN on Thursday.
“These are my ideas,” Senecal told CNN. “They have nothing to do with Mr. Trump.”
