No punches pulled! The Biggest Loser trainer Dolvett Quince isn’t looking to become pals with the NBC weight-loss competition’s latest batch of contestants, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek at the season 17 premiere.
The footage from the January 4 episode shows Quince getting real with his team after questioning how dedicated some of them are to dropping pounds.
“I’ve been doing this for six seasons,” Quince says. “I’m not your friend — not in this house. I’m not going to coddle you — that’s not me. You’ve had that already in your life.”
One person on his team defends herself and says she did well at the end of the challenge, but Quince isn’t convinced.
“I’m telling you straight up, me and you — I don’t believe you,” says Quince, who will be recapping each season 17 episode for Us. “I think you’re going to be the first to go home.”
Among this season’s competitors are Survivor season 1 winner Richard Hatch and The Voice season 2 finalist Erin Willett.
The Biggest Loser returns Monday, January 4, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
