Selena Gomez has been welcomed into one very exclusive club! The pop sensation’s latest hit single, “Hands to Myself,” has moved up to the No. 1 spot on the Pop Songs Chart. It’s the third consecutive single from her second solo album, Revival, to reach that level of success. The others were “Good For You” and “Same Old Love.”
With this achievement, Gomez has become just the sixth female artist with three consecutive No. 1s from a single album. Her talented predecessors are Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and BFF Taylor Swift.
While her music has been blowing up the charts, the former Disney actress has proven that she can do sultry better than anyone. In December 2015, Gomez released the single’s music video for which she wore nothing but black lingerie and heels. In January, the multi-platinum singer made her Saturday Night Live debut, stirring up plenty of buzz with her sizzling performances.
The international pop star will be kicking off her highly anticipated Revival World Tour on Friday, May 6, starting in Las Vegas. Gomez will stop in New York, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Toronto, Vancouver and more cities around the globe.
