Yep, even Kaley Cuoco gets starstruck! On the Tuesday, May 10, episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, the actress revealed that she totally fangirled over meeting her idol Jennifer Aniston at NBC’s All-Star Tribute to James Burrows back in February.
The ladies attended the televised event and were seated at tables not too far from each other, Cuoco, 30, with her Big Bang Theory castmates and Aniston, 47, with her fellow Friends alumni. (James Burrows created both popular series.)
“She turns around and she literally goes like this: ‘Kaley!’” Cuoco excitedly told Seth Meyers about her gracious greeting from Aniston. “It was like the skies opened up, and she smelled like a garden. It was everything I dreamed it would be.”
The 8 Simple Rules alum was so enthused that she even invited her Big Bang Theory costars (Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg and Jim Parsons) over to take a group photo with Aniston and the rest of the cast (Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox) from the iconic sitcom that ran for 10 seasons, from 1994 until 2004.
Later, Cuoco shared the snap on Instagram. “Ummmm NIGHT MADE. Can’t breathe #friends meets #bbt @bigbangtheory_cbs I died and went to heaven,” she captioned the shot.
Cuoco, who appears to be hanging on to Cox, 51, for dear life in the pic, joked to Meyers, 42, that she “needed to be touching one of them.”
The blonde beauty then went on to say that she almost asked for Aniston’s number but decided against it at the last minute. Still, she can’t help but wonder if the Mother’s Day star would’ve liked to exchange digits. “I’m still thinking, she’s probably looking for mine,” Cuoco noted.
