‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Season 6 Finale Recap: Yolanda Foster Says Her Divorce Feels ‘Like a Death’

That’s all, folks! Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had its most dramatic episode yet with the Tuesday, April 12, season 6 finale, as Yolanda Foster opened up about her shocking divorce and Lisa Rinna completely threw Lisa Vanderpump under the bus. Meanwhile, Rinna and Kim Richards had a heated talk in which massive amounts of shade were thrown, and Giggy the Pom dealt with the emotional burden of being in the spotlight (one assumes).

Apology Not Accepted

Oh, no, she did not! In an effort to make amends, Rinna told Yolanda that Vanderpump was originally responsible for spreading false rumors about her health. “Lisa Vanderpump showed pictures of you on your Instagram, saying, ‘Here, what do you think of this? Don’t you think this is odd?'” Rinna told Yolanda. “I’m all about owning it. If I’m gonna own it, why won’t she own it?”

While Yolanda seemed intrigued by Rinna’s claims, she wasn’t ready to forgive and forget. “‘Sorry’ sometimes isn’t good enough,” the former model told cameras.

P.S. To be fair to Vanderpump, she managed to apologize to Faye Resnick during this episode, saying a simple, “Sorry I’ve been rude to you.”

Denial Ain’t Just a River in Egypt

Yolanda ended up confronting Vanderpump about Rinna’s claims, and the Sur boss completely denied having anything to do with spreading rumors. “That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard,” Vanderpump said before summoning Kyle Richards to corroborate her story. Fortunately, Kyle was more than ready to have her friend’s back, and told Yolanda that Rinna’s take on the situation was “100 percent” not true.

Sounds good, but Yolanda left the party feeling all kinds of iffy about Vanderpump. “It just doesn’t feel right to me,” she told cameras. “It’s just like, ew.”

Meanwhile, Vanderpump’s husband, Ken Todd, was decidedly Team LVP, and said Rinna was a “f–king stupid bitch,” a “silly cow” and a “wanker.” #BritishInsults

Enemies for Life

Lisa Rinna and Kim Richards finally had a face-to-face after their explosive fight during last season’s reunion show, and it was not pretty. Kim asked Rinna why she was “enraged” by her hang session with Yolanda, and Rinna completely refused to engage — instead implying that Kim’s still an addict.

“It’s your choice to live your life the way you live your life,” Rinna mused. “I want you to get better.” Kim’s response? “What do you mean, you want me to get better? I am better. I felt like that’s a dart. Like, you just threw a dart at me, honestly.”

Rinna advised Kim to own her “stuff,” told her again to get better and then flounced away in a huff. In the words of Kyle, “I think we can pretty much move on from that friendship.”

The End

RHOBH closed out its season by flashing forward two months and announcing Yolanda’s divorce from David Foster. At the time this episode was filmed, Yolanda had moved into a new condo because she “couldn’t live in the same house with David,” and likened the separation to death.

“Divorce is almost like a death,” she told cameras. “It’s shocking. You know, David was my life partner. My best friend. And I miss my best friend.”

Yolanda said that she and David stopped “making each other happy” and that in time, she hoped they’d be friends. “Just because the marriage didn’t work anymore, it didn’t change the fact that I still love him,” she explained.

Naturally, the Housewives were shocked to learn Yolanda’s news, but no one’s opinion matters more than that of Lisa Rinna. “She just made sure we knew a lot about her sickness, but she did not know her marriage was falling apart,” Rinna said. “I kept saying there’s something not making sense.”

Rinna’s sixth sense aside, she also implied that Yolanda’s sickness was directly tied to the end of her marriage: “I see where now Yolanda’s head was not connecting to her heart, and something was going on that she was dealing with that could make you feel and be very sick.”

These comments are likely going to cause controversy during the reunion, but in the words of Lisa Rinna herself, “I do things that I’m horrified by.”
