She's on cloud nine! Meghan King Edmonds is pregnant and expecting her first child with her husband, Jim Edmonds, Us Weekly can confirm.
"We are so thankful to have a healthy baby girl on the way," the Real Housewives of Orange County star, 31, tells Us in a statement. "IVF was well worth it!"
The TV personality went on to show off her growing baby bump via Instagram on Monday. "We're expecting a perfect little bundle of sugar and spice and everything nice!" she captioned the pic. "Jimmy and I are over the moon! We are thrilled to bring our daughter into our perfectly imperfect blended family in time for the holidays!"
King and the former baseball pro, 45, married in October 2014. He's already dad of four children from two previous marriages. Back in March, King opened up about being a stepmom.
"They really do feel like my children and I love them as if they are my children," she told Bravo. "I am shocked by the amount of indifference some stepmoms demonstrate. I sometimes find myself being jealous of how they can remove themselves from their stepkid and carry on with their lives as wives. But, then, I think it is a defense mechanism. The role I have chosen to play, which is a choice, is one of much more heartache and turmoil. But, for me, it’s so much more rewarding."
King joined the Bravo series last year in season 10. In January 2016, she tweeted that her New Year's resolution was to expand their family. "Our resolution: spend every min possible with my best friend & to turn our family of 6 into 7!" she wrote at the time. "I love u @JimEdmonds!"
