This Teen’s Beyonce-Inspired Prom Entrance Is Epic

She came to slay! Azja Frazier set a new standard for prom entrances with her Beyoncé-inspired debut, complete with professional dancers, a red carpet and a fog machine.

Video of the big moment has gone viral on Facebook, racking up more than 3 million views on dancer Floyd D. Wimberly‘s page and more than 7.5 million on another.

In the clip, Frazier’s date waits by the steps outside her house, which is decorated with black and gold balloons, a garland of glittering stars and a gold foil fringed curtain. As he waits, Beyoncé’s “Formation” starts playing, and Wimberly emerges through the fringe in white pants and a black top.

After several seconds, he launches into Bey’s “Formation” choreography, nailing every move, before walking down the steps to make room for a second dancer.

Frazier, rocking a yellow halter dress, finally makes her entrance about two and a half minutes into the performance, appearing from behind the gold curtain and striking a pose on the top step as her friends and family cheer.

The teen, who hails from Illinois, told BuzzFeed News she hired Wimberly after seeing some of his previous dances. According to his Facebook page, he’s done the “Formation” prom entrance at least twice before and has also performed Bey’s “Diva” for a sendoff.

“I wanted something to entertain my guests while they were waiting on me to come out,” Frazier told BuzzFeed. “Also, I loved the song and I felt like it was a moment when I slayed.…I felt like it was my day to shine.”
