Back to the drawing board. Ali Fedotowsky recently revealed to Us Weekly that she has canceled her wedding plans in Mexico due to Zika virus risks.

“We were planning on Mexico, that was our dream, but now this Zika thing is really messing things up!” the Bachelorette alum, 31 — who got engaged to fiancé Kevin Manno in September 2015— explained to Us. “Because obviously I can’t go because I’m pregnant, but now there are all these reports and it’s not fair to all my guests … So anyway, now we’re starting from square one! We had a venue and it was all ready to go. It’s such a bummer!

Fedotowsky is heartbroken over the fact that she can’t celebrate her upcoming nuptials south of the border.

“It was such a huge disappointment,” the expectant mom told The Knot in an interview published on Friday, June 24.. “Even though we won’t be pregnant when we get married, we just didn’t think it was fair to ask our guests to travel to a location with active Zika virus transmissions.…Most of our friends are in ‘baby mode,’ and that just wasn’t a fair ask.”

This isn’t the first time the former reality star — who’s currently eight months’ pregnant — has had to rethink where and when she’ll tie the knot. “We actually also planned a wedding in California for January 2016,” she revealed. “And we ended up pushing that back too because we found out I was pregnant.”

While her baby news “wasn’t a surprise” (she and Manno had been actively trying for a baby), she figured at the time that she would rather “let loose” on her big day.

“It’s a good thing we didn’t get married then because I was so sick at the beginning of my pregnancy,” she told The Knot. “It would have been a rough night for me.”

As of now, the pair, who are expecting a baby girl, have not set a new date for their I dos. But while she has yet to pin down the details for her walk down the aisle, Fedotowsky does have a few prerequisites for a perfect ceremony.

“We just want to celebrate our love with all the people that matter most to us. I don’t need to know any of the details, I just want to show up and marry my best friend,” she noted. “[I was also told] to make sure the food and music is good. Oh, and to have an open bar!”

However, the Ali Luvs blogger has some sad news for Bachelor Nation: She has no interest in getting married on TV.

“No one has asked us to get married on live TV, but I don’t think we would do that,” she shared. “It seems too stressful to me. Kevin and I have both done enough live television to know that so many things can go wrong!”
