The TLC series’ preview clip shows Thore, 32, explaining to Will that her doctor doesn’t want her to overly exert herself during exercise because of pain in her back. However, Will is skeptical about the validity of her supposed injury.

“The thing about Will is that ever since I gained the weight back, I feel like he doesn’t trust me,” says the aspiring radio personality, who gained 200 pounds in college and was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome. “He is assuming that I am making every excuse that I can and that I am crafting up reasons not to be able to do things, but I’m truly not.”

For his part, the trainer says to the camera, “She kind of uses these little episodes to just totally shut down, and I just need her to know, you can’t totally shut down. We’ve got to do something every day to reach these goals that we’ve set.”

Thore later pleads with him, “My back has been hurt for three weeks,” but he is not having it. He fires back, “That has nothing to do with the food — that’s what I’m trying to get across to you.”
