As Us Weekly previously reported, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 35, posted a series of Snapchat videos Sunday night of West and Swift’s phone call. In the clips, the “Bad Blood” singer, 26, seemingly gives the “Waves” rapper, 39, the OK to release the controversial track, which includes the NSFW line, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.”

After Kardashian shared the vids, Swift posted a note via Instagram, claiming that she wasn’t informed she’d be referred to as “that bitch” in the song. “Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination,” she wrote. “I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I was never asked to be a part of, since 2009.”

Despite the “Shake It Off” singer’s statement, Twitter users started sharing their takes on the epic drama, causing the hashtag #KimExposedTaylorParty to become a worldwide trending topic.

“Hi @taylorswift13 did you call John Mayer and ask him if it was ok to write Dear John?” one user asked Swift, who famously penned a track about ex Mayer, 38, in 2010. “Did you tell him the lyrics? Just wondering thanks.”

“If ur sad or down at the moment just think: you could be taylor swift right now,” another fan wrote.
