Ever wondered what it’s like to go on tour with Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas? Well this video shows that it’s … kinda fun, actually.
The pair, who kicked off their Honda Civic Tour: Future Now dates at the end of June, posted a NSFW vlog online on Saturday, July 2, that documents the days before their first show in Atlanta.
It’s clear that the old friends get along, and that’s a good thing as they’ll be on the road together through mid-September. But the early days of their tour aren’t without their hiccups, which include a run-in with police, weather problems and a scooter thief.
The vlog shows their tour bus getting pulled over by local cops as they head to Atlanta, Jonas’ late-night CVS run for “essentials,” and the tour mates handing out popsicles — which looks like fun till they get rained out. Totally rained out. Rain flying sideways.
“Mother Nature didn’t agree with us today,” Jonas, 23, says. “Guess what, f—k Mother Nature.”
“What he said,” Lovato, 23, agrees.
The “Chains” singer then goes shopping in a sports store and poses for a pic with an excited female fan, who announces after meeting the singer: “I just met my dream man, honestly.” She says this while her boyfriend is standing right next to her. Awkward.
Next, we’re backstage, where the former Disney Channel star jokes that somebody stole her cute white Uscooter. It’s quickly returned.
The excitement builds as the crowd starts to fill the Philips Arena for the show on June 29, and Rich Homie Quan arrives to make a guest appearance.
Fans get a glimpse of the show, which looks amazing, and T.I. also joins the pair onstage.
Afterwards, Lovato and Jonas hug as the “Body Say” singer exclaims, “We did it! Yay!”
