Everything’s hotter in Miami! E!’s new series WAGS Miami is almost here, and Us Weekly can exclusively reveal the premiere date and debut the first look at all the sexy drama.
The new unscripted show is a spinoff of WAGS and launches on Sunday, October 2. The eight-episode first season focuses on the turbulent lives of eight Florida-based women who know all about what it’s like to get cozy with elite sports stars.
The cast includes Hencha Voigt, who is currently single after dating members of the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat and Miami Marlins; Claudia Sampedro, who has an 8-month-old son with boyfriend and Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Julius Peppers; and Vanessa Cole, who has spent seven years with a Baltimore Ravens star.
Rounding out the cast are Ashley Nicole Roberts, who has a 2-year-old son with Atlanta Falcons linebacker Philip Wheeler; Darnell Nicole, engaged to Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones; Astrid Bavaresco, who has hooked up with members of the Dolphins, Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers; and Metisha Schaefer, who has dated pro baseball and football players.
Included in this season’s drama is the fact that Nicole Williams, a Los Angeles–based WAG, is currently dating Schaefer’s ex. The two women still hang out together, which makes things particularly awkward, as Schaefer’s ex allegedly cheated on her with Williams.
“New players, new city, all new WAGS,” the promo teases.
