Precious! Chris Klein and his wife, Laina Rose Thyfault, have welcomed their first child together, the actor’s rep, Jaime Primak Sullivan, confirms to Us Weekly. The American Pie actor and his wife welcomed a baby boy named Frederick Easton Klein on Saturday, July 23.
“All is well! Mother and baby are home and doing wonderful. Chris is so in love,” Sullivan tells Us. “The baby was born healthy and two weeks late in the couple’s hometown of Austin, Texas.”
The Rollerball actor and his wife both took to social media on Wednesday, July 27, to share photos of their little bundle of joy.
“So incredibly blessed and forever grateful for my amazing wife & our healthy baby boy. Laina delivered me a miracle,” Klein wrote alongside a sweet snap of Frederick sleeping, which he posted to his WhoSay account.
“So excited to announce our precious baby boy, Frederick Easton Klein was born 7/23/16. This little Champ has already mastered his warrior pose and is doing great,” Thyfault added alongside another shot of Frederick on her Instagram account. “Our hearts are bursting with love and joy💗 #staylittleforever #wakingupklein #chrisklein #partyofthree.”
Klein announced they were expecting their first child this past May on Facebook. “My beautiful wife Laina and I are expecting our first child. 23 weeks along. Gratefully blessed on my 37th B-Day,” he shared at the time, along with a photo of Thyfault's pregnant belly.
Klein and Thyfault, a travel agent, tied the knot in Montana in August 2015. The pair got engaged in December 2014 after three years of dating.
