Which of JoJo Fletcher’s ‘The Bachelorette’ Castoffs Should Be the Season 21 Bachelor — Luke Pell or Chase McNary?

It’s almost time for a new journey! The Bachelorette season 12’s JoJo Fletcher is happily engaged to Jordan Rodgers, which could mean that one of her castoffs — including Luke Pell and Chase McNary — will get a nice consolation prize by landing the gig as the season 21 Bachelor. But who do you think is the right man to hand out the roses? Cast your vote in the poll below.

ABC has not yet revealed who will be the next Bachelor, although the official announcement is likely to come soon, as the long-running dating series typically returns each January. (Last year, Ben Higgins‘ selection as the season 20 Bachelor was announced during After Paradise‘s August 24, 2015, episode.)

Any one of Fletcher’s many memorable also-rans could be in the mix, but Pell and McNary appear to be two of the more popular season 12 standouts. Both guys were warmly received by fans during the “After the Final Rose” special on Monday, August 1, and have said they would be interested in the role.

Pell — a 31-year-old veteran of the war in Afghanistan who hails from Burnet, Texas — shared undeniably steamy chemistry with Fletcher throughout the season. But he took a while to disclose his feelings for her, and despite pulling the 25-year-old real estate developer aside to drop the L-word at the start of the rose ceremony in the hometowns episode, Pell was sent packing that night in fourth place.

McNary, the second runner-up, shared such memorable one-on-one moments with Fletcher as playing in fake snow at the Bachelor Mansion and getting sweaty during a yoga session. But luck ran out for the 27-year-old medical sales rep from Denver during his brief time in the fantasy suite with the Bachelorette, as she cut him shortly after he told her he loved her.

It’s now time to vote in the poll below: Should Pell or McNary be the next Bachelor? And if you think that someone else deserves the title — say, runner-up Robby Hayes, dark horse Wells Adams or perhaps a blast from the past like Arie Luyendyk Jr. — be sure to sound off in the comments!

Bachelor in Paradise airs on ABC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
