Baylee Curran, the woman who Chris Brown allegedly threatened with a gun during a gathering at his Tarzana, California, home on Tuesday, August 30, told multiple outlets that she feared for her life.
According to the beauty queen, she was admiring a diamond cross necklace when one of Brown’s pals allegedly confronted her.
“I did not pick it up, I did not touch it, take it or grab it, anything to that sort,” she told E! News, adding that Brown, 27, then appeared.
“Chris came in, pulled out his gun and said, ‘I’m getting so sick of you people,’ pointed the gun at me, [and told me] to get the eff out of the house,” she claimed to Extra.
Curran told both outlets that she exited the house but didn’t immediately leave the property because her cellphone was still inside. A friend of the rapper brought her the phone along with a non-disclosure agreement, which she says she refused to sign. According to Curran, she snatched her phone back and left.
“I took my phone and made a run for it,” she told Extra. “I fled down his driveway. I went to the left side of the street, went up a couple houses, was running. That’s when the neighbors heard the commotion and saw me out there and then called the police, and that is when I then called the police.”
“I was scared for my life,” she told E! News.
Brown has since been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after an hours-long standoff with police earlier in the day. In Instagram videos posted to his account on Tuesday, Brown claimed that he was asleep for a majority of the night.
Curran told Extra that though she filed the police report and has talked to media, it wasn’t to make a name for herself.
“I don’t lie, I would never lie. Why, for what? I don’t need the publicity. I’m already kind of well-known being Miss California Regional, modeling, upcoming actress, so if I was doing this for fame or something of that sort why would I do it this way?”
