Costar bonding! Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga were spotted grocery shopping together in Malibu, California, on Sunday, September 4, just a few weeks after the pop superstar announced that she’s starring in Cooper’s remake of A Star Is Born.
The “Bad Romance” songstress, 30, drove the American Sniper actor, 41, to the store in her powder blue Ford Bronco. Cooper was spotted riding shotgun in the classic car as two other pals sat in the back seat.
The group stopped by Vintage Grocers, and Gaga was photographed leaving the store with a shopping bag. The Silver Linings Playbook star sported a red T-shirt, black pants and a white hat, while the “Poker Face” singer wore a simple white tank top, dark denim shorts and sneakers for the outing.
The two A-listers are teaming up for the reboot of the classic film, which will be Cooper’s directorial debut. He’s also starring in the film alongside Gaga, who is taking on her first major film role. She will write and perform music for the movie, which is based on the original 1937 film and the 1954 remake starring Judy Garland and James Mason.
“I’m elated to be directed by & starring w/ Bradley in this project. He’s a brilliant visionary artist. #AStarIsBorn #AStarIsBornCooperGaga,” the American Horror Story: Hotel actress tweeted on August 16 after news of her role in the Warner Bros. film broke.
