Three proposals, one awkward split — and so many online reactions! Bachelor in Paradise‘s season 3 finale aired on Tuesday, September 6, and featured Josh Murray making another televised proposal, along with Nick Viall setting his sights on show No. 4, and Twitter had plenty to say about it all.
Among the memorable moments in the ABC dating series’ episode were Evan Bass‘ endearing proposal to Carly Waddell (“Will you freaking marry me?”), Grant Kemp surprising Lace Morris with a ring after their previous friction and Murray popping the question to Amanda Stanton.
Twitter users were particularly smitten by Bass and Waddell’s special moment, while some tweets poked fun at Murray’s surprisingly sweaty shirt during his big speech.
Also garnering plenty of responses was Viall ending things with Jen Saviano after spending the night in the fantasy suite with her. Viewers had a pretty good idea that things would not end happily ever after for the pair, as Viall was announced on Tuesday, August 30, as the season 21 Bachelor.
Viall himself tweeted his praise of Saviano after the show aired: “It’s not easy saying goodbye to someone as incredible as @jensav11. One of the most beautiful, graceful and intelligent women I’ve ever met. So lucky to have had her in my life. She deserves the world. #bachelorinparadise.”
