Prinze Jr. and Cook, 36, played hot shot jock Zack Siler and outcast Laney Boggs in the 1999 romantic comedy. Zack made a bet with pal Dean Sampson (played by the late Paul Walker) that he could turn artsy Laney into prom queen in six weeks.

Zack’s plan nearly worked. Laney got a gorgeous makeover (cue Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me”!) and campaigned against Zack’s hostile ex-girlfriend Taylor Vaughan (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe). Zack eventually lost the bet, but he and Laney did end up with a happy ending.

She’s All That’s cast also included Matthew Lillard, Anna Paquin, Kieran Culkin, Gabrielle Union, Dulé Hill, Elden Henson, Lil’ Kim and Usher.

Prinze Jr. and Cook opened up about the flick in honor of its 15th anniversary in January 2014. They particularly recalled the unforgettable choreographed prom scene.

“The dance sequence is the best for a thousand reasons,” Prinze Jr. told The Daily Beast. “It’s a sequence that I was horrified to do, because I had never danced on camera before. … I remember Dulé being pissed that he wasn’t able to tap dance, so he insisted on doing this stupid hoedown thing.”

“I remember seeing Dulé tap dance!” Cook chimed in. “For the big dance number, I was trying to protect myself so I remember making the case to our choreographer, Adam Shankman, that my character wouldn’t know this dance and that I’m not a born dancer, so I think that’s how I ended up just doing a move or two here or there. Jodi’s character did most of the dirty work. And if I ever hear ‘The Rockafeller Skank’ again, I’m going to shoot myself.”
