More, more, more! Miley Cyrus joined Billy Idol on stage at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Friday, September 23, for a surprise performance of his 1983 hit “Rebel Yell.”
“Singing with me … Miley Cyrus! Let’s hear it!” the 60-year-old English rocker announced during his four-song set, which also included fan favorites “Dancing With Myself” and “White Wedding.”
Clad in an Idol-inspired ensemble, the “Wrecking Ball” singer, 23, took the stage, yelling, “Singing with Billy f–king Idol! Let’s do it!”
During the high-energy performance, Cyrus wowed the crowd at T-Mobile Arena with her superfan outfit, which included an epic leather jacket with Idol’s face painted on the back, a vintage Idol T-shirt, leather pants with the ’80s icon’s name down the left leg and Idol sunglasses.
This wasn’t the first time the eccentric entertainer covered “Rebel Yell.” She previously performed the rock hit at the VH1 Divas concert in December 2012.
After taking the iHeartRadio stage on Friday night, Cyrus and her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, headed to OMNIA nightclub inside Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where they partied at a VIP table with friends, including pro snowboarder Shaun White.
The first night of the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which was sponsored by MasterCard, also featured performances from Drake, Sia, One Republic, U2 and many others. Saturday night’s lineup includes Britney Spears, Ariana Grande and Sting.
