Then it was his 1990 car-racing film, Days of Thunder, followed by a quick wardrobe change as they moved into the Oscar-winning Rain Man, with Corden, 38, taking on Dustin Hoffman‘s role.

Cruise’s dancing cameo in Tropic Thunder came next, with the star donning a bald headpiece but, alas, no fat suit.

The fifth film was War of the Worlds, and then came Minority Report, with Cruise, 54, describing the talk show host as having “a fake British accent, the physique of a snowman and zero muscles.”

The pair then re-created a memorable scene from Mission: Impossible that had them hovering inches above the ground before they jumped onto motorcycles for Mission: Impossible II.

After a quick mask change for Mission: Impossible III, they pretended to cling to the side of a building in Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol, and then jumped onto the rear of a plane for the fifth film in the franchise, Rogue Nation.

The 12th film in the nine-minute montage was Jerry Maguire, with the famous “Show me the money!” line. Watch the video above to see Cuba Gooding Jr. take over from Corden, and check out 10 more of Cruise’s biggest hits, including A Few Good Men, Cocktail and Risky Business.
