Donald Trump: Alec Baldwin’s ‘SNL’ Portrayal of Me ‘Stinks,’ Show Is ‘Unfunny’

The Donald is not amused. Donald Trump slammed Alec Baldwin’s portrayal of him on Saturday Night Live in a tweet on Sunday, October 16, calling for the sketch comedy show to be canceled.

“Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me,” the Republican presidential candidate wrote. “Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!”

Trump himself appeared on the show last November, when he took a jab at archnemesis Rosie O’Donnell during the opening monologue, was called a racist by Larry David and danced to Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”

The 70-year-old real estate mogul followed this tweet with a jab at the slew of sexual misconduct allegations against him that have surfaced this past week. “Polls close, but can you believe I lost large numbers of women voter based on made up events THAT NEVER HAPPENED,” he wrote. “Media rigging election!”

On Saturday’s show, the cold open re-created the second presidential debate, and Baldwin-as-Trump was indignant when Cecily Strong’s Martha Raddatz asked him to explain how Hillary Clinton’s attempt to “silence” her husband Bill Clinton’s accusers was any different from the women who were accusing him of sexual assault.

“They need to shut the hell up,” he said of the women who have come forward in the days following the release of the damning 2005 Access Hollywood tape.

At present, the women who have come forward to accuse the former Apprentice host of sexual assault and inappropriate touching include a People reporter, several former beauty queens and a now-74-year-old who claimed Trump had once groped her “like an octopus” while aboard a flight to New York City.

Trump has flatly denied all allegations, calling the women “liars” and the growing number of accounts “false.”

Several former Apprentice staffers have also come forward to reveal that the GOP presidential hopeful had racist and sexist tendencies during the taping of the show, including calling Marlee Matlin, a deaf contestant, “retarded,” and rapper Lil Jon “Uncle Tom.”
