Take a bite out of this! On Tuesday, November 1, Lauren Conrad announced the muse behind her sixth Disney-inspired capsule: Walt Disney’s first princess, Snow White.

“I love Snow White because it’s one of the first Disney movies I ever saw,” the Hills alum, 30, exclusively tells Stylish of Disney’s Snow White, a Collection by LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’sBut as with her Cinderella, Bambi and Minnie Mouse collections, she didn’t just rely on memories. She went straight to the source — Disney Studios — for inspiration. “I’ve learned a lot about different movies and characters, [but] I really loved learning about Snow White because the movie is so beautifully illustrated,” she tells Stylish. “It’s their oldest movie, so it was really cool to see the process.”

It also helps that, thanks in part to Conrad’s husband, William Tell — yes, he shares a name with the legendary archer who had to shoot an apple off his son’s head, and she’s said she loves it — she and the princess share an affinity for the same fruit. “Apples are involved [in the movie], and I love apples, so it was a lot of fun to play with that!” she shares.

In fact, you can find small illustrations of the scarlet fruit, not to mention florals and bird imagery, throughout the collection (which will range from $36 to $68). “We did a few different prints and then just really light touches of embellishment,” the Celebrate author tells Stylish. “You don’t see it at first glance, which I really love.”

If you shop the collection when it hits Kohl’s stores and kohls.com on Wednesday, November 2, make sure to look out for the Paper Crown designer’s favorite pieces: “I love the printed blouses we did. And these really pretty dresses we made with a sort of mesh tulle fabric.”

And, of course, any piece with a little apple accenting. “I think it’s a little special when there’s something hidden in the details,” she says.
