Kim Kardashian Concierge Writes Open Letter to Her About Paris Robbery: Report

In his own words. The hotel concierge who was allegedly held at gunpoint and led robbers to Kim Kardashian’s luxury apartment in Paris reportedly published an open letter to the reality star on Friday, October 7.

“Dear Kim: When you feel the cold steel of a gun at your neck, it is the moment when remaining calm can mean the difference of life or death, both our lives,” the 40-year-old hotel employee wrote in French celebrity magazine Closer, according to TMZ. “I hope you are feeling better.”

As Us Weekly previously reported, the Hôtel de Pourtalès staffer told authorities that five men dressed as policemen buzzed the intercom in the early hours of Monday, October 3, demanding to see Kardashian, 35.

The concierge said when he opened the door to the building, they pointed a gun at his head and forced him to unlock the door to Kardashian’s apartment. His effortless ability to reach the reality star is puzzling law enforcement.

“What’s confusing to police is how a low-ranking night staffer had such easy key access to the VIP apartments,” a source told Us, adding that police “remain baffled at the apparent ease with which he was able to guide the robbers straight to the star’s bedroom.”

The insider also pointed out that it’s “inconceivable” that the concierge would be able to gain access to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s residence without breaking the door down, and yet, there was no sign of forced entry.

Though the Selfish author has yet to release any formal statement about the terrifying incident, TMZ reports that Kardashian made it a point to tell investigators that she found it odd that the concierge remained so calm despite being handcuffed and held at gunpoint.

According to the site, when she asked the concierge, “Are we gonna die?” he calmly responded, “I don’t know.” As Us previously reported, Kardashian feared that she’d be raped or killed during the burglary.

“They did not speak English. Kim was hysterically crying, begging for her life, telling them about her babies,” a second source previously told Us. “After they left, she was able to wiggle her hands out of the tie and then she was able to get the rest of the stuff off of her.”

Kardashian is currently safely back in Los Angeles with her two young children — North, 3, and Saint, 10 months — who she shares with husband Kanye West.
