Mistletoe, anyone? Big Brother’s Corey Brooks often opened up about the two loves in his life during season 18: Housemate Nicole Franzel and Christmas. The latest evicted contestant opens up exclusively with Us Weekly about the couple’s showmance and when he fell for her.
“I didn’t come into this game wanting a showmance, but if it helped my game I wasn’t opposed to it,” the baseball coach, 25, tells Us. “The moment I realized I had feelings [for Nicole] was when the girls got scared in the London room. They thought there was ghost in there. They all came running out and Nicole didn’t have a bed. I invited her to be my cuddle buddy and I thought this could be a good thing.”
Corey and the BB vet, 24, were the only couple to make it to final four. The two worked together from the very start, but it was Corey who was sent packing first thanks to HOH Paul Abrahamian.
“I would absolutely come back for another season, [but] I would not be in a showmance next time,” Corey tells Us. “Not that I regret it at all this season, not at all, but I want to see how I could play without a showmance. If Nicole is in it then I would do a showmance but if she is not in it than no.”

US WEEKLY: What would you want to do on your first date with Nicole?
COREY BROOKS: Honestly, I would just want her to meet my friends, go out for some margaritas, get some Mexican food. Definitely want her to meet my friends and dog. Maybe go to a post season baseball game this fall. That would be a lot of fun.
US: You love Christmas! What are some of your favorite traditions?
CB: I guess my favorite Christmas tradition is just decking the house out with all the lights and decorations. Jamming out to Christmas music for a whole month. I like that.
US: What’s your favorite holiday movie?
CB: Elf is my favorite holiday movie. That is a good one.
US: You had an awful time on slip. What does it taste like?
CB: It was terrible experience and the slop tastes very bland and dry. It is almost like a weird textured chicken. Yeah, definitely the worst part of the summer was being on slop.
US: Did you lose any weight because of it?
CB: I definitely lost a lot of weight. You can tell in my face that I lost some. I probably lost like 5 pounds or so.
