The clip documents the transformation of the 58-year-old actor and staunch Democrat into the outspoken Republican nominee, 70. The process includes some fake eyebrows, a hairpiece, a power tie and, of course, lots of orange makeup. Fans also get a glimpse of Kate McKinnon, who is reprising her role as Hillary Clinton.

Baldwin will debut his version of Trump in the season premiere and will play the part for the rest of the season, sources told The Hollywood Reporter. Last season, the former Celebrity Apprentice host was played by Darrell Hammond, and prior to Hammond, Taran Killam frequently impersonated Trump.

Baldwin, who has guest-hosted SNL a record 16 times, has expressed mixed feelings about the business mogul in the past. “I would love to see Trump be the Republican nominee and run for president,” Baldwin said on the Howard Stern Show in June 2015, adding that he’s a “huge campaign-finance reform person.”

However, Baldwin seemed to change his tune when he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in May. He quipped, “We don’t really want a president who looks like he’s been dipped in movie popcorn butter.” Then in June, Baldwin said to The Telegraph of Trump, “Now we have Trump, who’s built from the DNA of intolerance and suspicion and all the other bad things that have been brewing in this country for the last 25 years. He’s the first candidate made from hate.”

Saturday Night Live returns to NBC on October 1. It will be hosted by Margot Robbie with The Weeknd as the musical guest.
