The outing took place during the boy band’s show on the Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater show in Los Angeles to promote the group’s upcoming Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood.

Backstreet Boys performed a number of their recognizable tunes, including “Get Another Boyfriend,” during which The Bachelor season 19 standouts Ashley Iaconetti and Becca Tilley took the stage and sat on stools to get serenaded. Consider Us envious.

After about an hour, the guys left the stage and then surprised the crowd by returning for an encore, at which point they were joined by none other than Viall and his ladies for “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).” Just a thought: If Josh Murray is ever spotted wearing an ‘NSync T-shirt, you’ll know why.

The Bachelor, 36, and his dates danced the chorus choreography with the band during the song, and group member A.J. McLean informed the crowd that the women had less than an hour to learn the moves. At the end of the song, the group appropriately changed the lyrics from, “Backstreet’s back, all right!” to “Nick is back, all right!”

BSB’s members picked the girl who did the best job nailing the moves, and she and Viall danced to a live rendition of “I Want It That Way” as the other women stood and watched. Plus, the lucky winner even got a kiss from the man of the hour!

McLean spoke exclusively with Us Weekly at the We Are X premiere on Monday, October 3, and said that taping the segment for the venerable ABC dating series “was a lot of fun.”

“Nick is a great guy,” the boy bander said. “I felt really bad for the girls because we only gave them 30 minutes to learn that whole dance routine, and the fear of God came over all of those girls’ faces. They were such, such, such troupers.”

“I wish them all the best of luck, and I do hope Nick does finally find that special someone,” McLean continued.

During an earlier date for The Bachelor‘s upcoming season 21, Viall and one of the eligible ladies went for a ride on a Ferris wheel, and an onlooker told Us that the couple were “enjoying themselves.”
