Oh, boy. Ashton Kutcher revealed during a Thursday, October 6, appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers that he was hoping for his second child with wife Mila Kunis to be another little girl. Watch what he said in the video above!
The 38-year-old actor — who shared that morning on the Today show that he and Kunis, 33, are expecting a baby boy — told Seth Meyers that he is fearful that having one child of each gender will cause his wife to hit the brakes on expanding their brood.
“I was hoping for a girl because first of all, our first girl is unbelievable,” the proud dad of daughter Wyatt, 2, explained. “But also, I figured if we had a girl second, [Mila] might give me one more shot at having a boy, and now I don’t know. It’s even money. She might cut me off. I want, like, 12 of them.”
Though he is worried about not seeing eye to eye on having more kids down the road, Kutcher assured Meyers, 42, that he and Kunis “are very excited and very happy” about meeting their new bundle of joy.
During his Thursday interview with Today, the Ranch star — who quietly tied the knot with Kunis July 4th weekend in 2015 — opened up about Wyatt’s excitement over becoming a big sister.
“She points to Mila and she’s like, ‘Baby brother!’ when she points to the belly,” he told Savannah Guthrie before joking, “And then she points to Daddy’s belly and says, ‘Beer.’”
While the whole family is thrilled about having a new member, Kutcher admitted that he is a bit anxious about second-time fatherhood when he sat down with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night.
“I’m worried. The first one, I was almost like a doula. I was reading every book. I was ready. I had a catcher’s mitt on,” he said on The Tonight Show. “This one, I haven’t done anything.”
