The Cubs broke what fans called a 108-year "curse" to beat the Indians 8-7 in extra innings in the nail-biting Game 7.

Chicago native John Cusack shared a pic from the dugout and captioned it, "Curse is gone —"

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who was born in Chicago and grew up rooting for the Cubs, reportedly kept her motorcade in Tempe, Arizona, on Wednesday night so that she could watch the ending of the game.

"They did it! 108 years later and the drought is finally over. Way to make history, @Cubs. #FlyTheW," she later tweeted.

Clinton's fellow Chicagoan First Lady Michelle Obama tweeted, "Go @Cubs, go! Been rooting for you since I was a kid, and so incredibly proud tonight. #FlytheW."

Parks and Recreation alum Nick Offerman, who was born in Joliet, Illinois, referenced his stoic character when he tweeted, "Dear followers. The @Cubs have won the World Series and I am openly crying. Ron may even have lifted his glass 2 our longsuffering. #Swanson."

Amy Schumer, who was at the game, posted a video on Instagram showing her over-the-top reaction to the win. "I'm very laid back," she joked.

Illinois native and comedian Bob Newhart shared a photo holding a W (for "win") flag that is flown over Wrigley Field. "The billy goat is dead!!" he captioned the Twitter pic, referencing the origin story related to the long-standing curse, "As I've said from the beginning, I'm getting too old for this! #GoCubsGo #FlytheW."

Seth Rogen deadpanned, "Congrats to all my comedy friends from Chicago. This joy will make you less funny for a few months."
