Donald Trump Calls for Hillary Clinton to Be Drug-Tested Before Third Presidential Debate

Donald Trump called for Hillary Clinton to be drug-tested before the third and final presidential debate, which will be held at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas on Wednesday, October 19.

The Republican presidential candidate, 70, suggested during a rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, that his Democratic opponent, 68, has been “getting pumped up” with performance-enhancing drugs.

“I think we should take a drug trust prior to the debate,” he told supporters on Saturday, October 15. “We should take a drug test because I don’t know what’s going on with her, but at the beginning of her last debate, she was all pumped up at the beginning, and at the end it was like, ‘Oh, take me down.’ She could barely reach her car.”

Trump, who offered no evidence to back up his claim, appeared to confuse the second presidential debate with last month’s 9/11 ceremony in New York City, where Clinton required assistance while getting into her van due to a bout of pneumonia.

“Athletes, they make them take a drug test, right?” the real estate mogul continued on Saturday afternoon, adding, “I’m willing to do it.”

Trump has repeatedly questioned his rival’s “stamina” throughout the election, despite Clinton’s physician stating in September that she is in “excellent mental condition” to serve as the next president.

The businessman — who recently made headlines after numerous women accused him of sexual assault following the leak of his lewd 2005 conversation with Billy Bush — released a one-page summary of his own medical records in September during an appearance on The Dr. Oz Show.

“We are pleased to disclose all of the test results which show that Mr. Trump is in excellent health, and has the stamina to endure — uninterrupted — the rigors of a punishing and unprecedented presidential campaign and, more importantly, the singularly demanding job of President of the United States,” the Trump campaign said in a press release on September 15.

The third presidential debate airs Wednesday, October 19, at 9 p.m. ET.
