11:54 p.m. ET: Jeff Ross posted an Instagram of Clinton’s celebrity supporters, including Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Jason Derulo, looking somber. “The mood is stoic here at the Javitz Center. #electionnight,” he captioned the sad.
11:49 p.m. ET: Some Clinton supporters have left the Javits Center in tears while Trump continues to close in.
11:39 p.m. ET: “Melanie Griffith, dressed all in black, is in attendance.”
11:30 p.m. ET: “Emergency medical crew went through the crowd, but it doesn’t seem like anything. The Mood in here is very, very tense and it’s very quiet. Everyone just cheered for Clinton’s Washington win.”

11:07 p.m. ET: “Everyone is going crazy as Robin Roberts broadcasts live and waves at the cameras and cheers. Meanwhile, the mood is very, very glum as Trump inches closer …”

8:36 p.m. ET: New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio just took the stage to proclaim we are going to “shatter that glass ceiling.”
8:30 p.m. ET: “Everyone is standing for National Anthem, including Robin Roberts, who is right next to us hosting for GMA.”
8:01 p.m. ET: “We just spotted Chris Colfer and a friend chatting up an usher on the main floor.”
11/8 7:56 p.m. ET: “We’re in! It’s already almost full. Security was intense getting in with screening. The whole inside of the Javits Center is cheering over Clinton being ahead in Florida and Ohio. The crowd is pumped and full of energy.”
Clinton, who is awaiting the fate of the election against Republican nominee Donald Trump, has been supported by a bevy of Hollywood A-listers throughout her campaign, so the fete will not disappoint. Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Shonda Rhimes, Pharrell Williams, Lady Gaga and more stars are likely to attend.
The former secretary of state will also deliver either a victory speech or a concession speech before her supporters and beneath a literal glass ceiling — the Javits Center is almost entirely glass and steel.
“Years from today, when your kids and grandkids ask what you did in 2016, when everything was on the line, I want you to be able to say that you did vote,” Clinton said during a rally on Monday, November 7, at the Independence Mall in Philadelphia alongside President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. “You voted for an inclusive, big-hearted, open-minded country — a future that will make sure that we all keep moving together. Because I do believe we are stronger together. And you voted for an America where we build bridges, not walls.”
