Lance Bass Loves ‘Finding Prince Charming’ More Than Being in ‘NSync

Lance Bass is loving his new job as the host of Finding Prince Charming — even more than he liked being a member of ‘NSync! Speaking with Us Weekly about the upcoming finale of the Logo series, the former boy-bander raved: “I’m genuinely so happy every day going to shoot. This is my first job where I’ve wanted to go to work every single day.”

Reflecting on his days with ex-bandmates Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, he added, “I couldn’t say that about anything else I’ve done, not even with ‘NSync. Sometimes in ‘NSync, I just wouldn’t want to do a show that night, but with this show, I’m so into every aspect of it. I’m there early and leave late.”

But will there be a proposal this season? Bass, 37, thinks not. “I don’t think it would be as authentic to propose at the end. I’m glad that they don’t get down on one knee,” he told Us. “Meeting someone and then proposing after three weeks is unreal, and you have those months of not being able to see each other, and then they could break up by the reunion.”

Speaking of the reunion, the former SiriusXM host teased that it’s a doozy. “There is so much drama that comes out on the reunion, maybe some behind-the-scenes hookups between the guys — you’ll have to tune in to see, but I was shocked!” he told Us.

“I was so excited to host a reunion. It was my first one and I love the Housewives ones,” he continued, referring to Bravo’s Real Housewives end-of-season specials. “I prepared so many questions, but didn’t get to half of them because the guys came in ready to share all the drama! The reunion is on par with the Housewives reunions.”

As for next season’s Prince Charming? “I have so many friends who have asked me [if they can] be the next Prince Charming,” Bass, who married Michael Turchin in 2014, told Us. “I have people begging me to get on the show. I think I’m a pretty good wingman, and I think I know what it takes to find the perfect man. I mean, I found my Prince Charming!”

Check out Finding Prince Charming Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Logo TV.
