Bye, haters! Bella Thorne opened up in a new interview about dealing with Instagram trolls and suggested that if she could talk to them face-to-face, she’d clap back with a strong message.
“People often don’t want to get to know the real you; they only want to get to know the person they think you are," the 19-year-old Disney Channel alum told Playboy for a profile published on Tuesday, October 18. "For me, that means people are constantly trying to change me, every second of the day, especially on social media. I’m not fed up with social media — I understand it — but people like to comment on how my image is too edgy, that I’m too edgy, and on how they wish I looked.”
She defiantly added: “It’s a lot of ‘do this, don’t do that.’ To them I say, f–k off.”
During her chat with the men’s magazine, Thorne — who regularly shows off her fit frame in barely there ensembles and bikinis on social media — also expressed her views about the double standard of slut-shaming women for how they dress.
"There’s this effort to try to shame a woman’s sexiness by pulling a cover over it, but I’m a woman who loves skin," the “Jersey” singer said. "I love skin on me, I love skin on girls, I love skin on guys. If you’re confident enough to show off your body, you should. Be confident.”
Just this past Monday, October 17, the redheaded beauty stripped down to a bra and a pair of boyfriend Tyler Posey’s boxers for a sexy Snapchat pic.
The former Shake It Up star went on to tout the importance of self-love.
“It can be difficult to get yourself to focus on you all the time, especially when you’re trying to transition into who you really are, but I’m not going to change for anybody else,” Thorne — who came out as bisexual in August — told Playboy. “I love staying true to me.”
