She's here! Real Housewives of Orange Country star Meghan King Edmonds got a very special Thanksgiving treat on Thursday, November 24 — she gave birth to a baby girl.
The Bravo star announced the new arrival on Instagram on Friday, sharing a pic of her goldendoodle, Girly Girl, sitting by a note that read, "Happy Thanksgiving Mommy! I can't wait to meet my new sister!"
"@therealgirlygirl sent me this note while Jimmy and I welcomed our new baby girl on Thanksgiving!" Edmonds, 32, captioned the photo. "Our hearts are exploding (Stay tuned for name, pics, baby info, and birth story info!)."
The Missouri native and her former professional baseball player husband, Jim Edmonds, 46, announced her pregnancy in June after documenting her struggle to conceive on the reality show. She was finally able to achieve her dream of motherhood with the help of in vitro fertilization.
"We are so thankful to have a healthy baby girl on the way," she told Us in a statement at the time. "IVF was well worth it."
This is the first child for the couple, who married in October 2014, although Jim already has four children from two previous marriages.
Meghan celebrated her baby shower in October in a "rustic-chic"-themed celebration attended by comedian Heather McDonald and RHOC alum Lizzie Rovsek, and the mom-to-be told Us that she was counting down the days until her baby girl arrived.
"I'm so excited!" she said. "I'm not nervous or scared except that I really want to breastfeed, and I hope it works out OK."
