Keeping calm and carrying on. Kendall Jenner spoke out on Wednesday, November 30, about how her sister Kim Kardashian and brother-in-law Kanye West have been doing since his hospitalization earlier this month.
“Everyone’s OK,” she told Entertainment Tonight backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris. “Everyone is doing OK, just praying.”
The 21-year-old model similarly told E! News that her older sister Kim, 36, is doing just fine in light of the stressful situation. “She’s good. She’s good,” Jenner told E! News of the Selfish author.
And even though the model’s family wasn’t able to make it out to her runway show, Jenner said the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan had been wishing her luck from across the pond.
“It’s [just] me,” she told ET. “Yeah, no one is coming out. … I’ve literally been texting with all of them, like, the past couple days.”
In October, Kardashian made headlines after robbers forced their way into her Paris apartment, tied her up and held her at gunpoint as they stole an estimated $10 million of jewelry. And just last week, West, 39, was hospitalized for extreme exhaustion.
“He’s been shaken up ever since the robbery in Paris,” a source told Us. “It did a number on him as much as Kim. The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin. He wasn’t sleeping and he was having nightmares about it.”
As Us exclusively reported, the event “strained their relationship,” causing the pair to fight as they struggled to regain a new normalcy.
“He would be up all night ranting about things,” another source told Us of the 21-time Grammy winner. “They were fighting because he was impossible to live with.”
At present, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is sticking by West’s side in his private room at the UCLA Medical Center, where she is making sure that he gets rest.
“Kanye’s behavior took a huge toll on their marriage,” a source close to the couple told Us. “But Kim feels relieved he is getting the help he needs. She thinks this is what it will take to save him — and help their marriage.”
