They grow up so fast! Just ask proud mama Jamie-Lynn Sigler. “The best part of being a mom to a 3-year-old is just seeing him grow into his own person, especially now he’s in school and becoming such an individual,” the actress tells Us Weekly of son Beau with baseball player Cutter Dykstra. “Maybe things that I’ve instilled in him he’s expressing out in the world. It’s really cool to see the little boy he’s becoming.”

Of course, that doesn’t mean that motherhood is always a breeze. “The hard part is it’s exhausting,” she admits. “You’re just so ready for them to go to sleep at the end of the day, but then once he goes to sleep I miss him!”

Indeed, family comes first for this Sopranos alum, who’s already busy gearing up for the holidays. “Since having my son, I want to create traditions for him that he will remember,” says the star, 35. “I usually like to host. I’m a big cook!”

And it’s no stuffy affair here. “The holidays mean football because there is always a big game on,” says Sigler, who even helped kick off the NFL’s Holiday Gift Guide on November 3. “Our holidays are not dress up and go to the in-laws. It’s literally come as you are, wear your most comfortable, stretchiest pants because we’re gonna eat a lot of food. It revolves around the game and the kids, playing sports and watching sports.”

That suits Beau, already a real guy’s guy, just fine. “He’s such a little fan of sports, anytime you get him team apparel, he’s so proud to wear it,” says the New York native. Perhaps her greatest parenting achievement? “I made him a Giants fan!”
