Reprising Rachel! Jennifer Aniston dished on her Saturday Night Live cameo on December 3, when she critiqued her friend Vanessa Bayer’s impression of her Friends character, Rachel Green.
“It was so much fun. She’s the sweetest, Vanessa,” Aniston, 47, told Entertainment Tonight of her Office Christmas Party costar, 35. “This is something she’s been doing since, you know, she grew up on Friends. This was something she has been doing since her stand-up days. We had fun!”
Bayer also opened up about the SNL segment to ET, calling it “a dream” to portray Aniston’s Rachel alongside the actress herself. “She had been very kind about the impression when we were shooting [Office Christmas Party],” she said. “She had seen me do it, but I had never done it in front of her until yesterday, and she was a dream about it, and she was just the best.”

During the NBC sketch comedy, the comedian dressed as Rachel in a black turtleneck and overalls to talk with “Weekend Update” host Colin Jost about why ‘90s sitcoms are still so popular.
“Oh, yeah, you know, the ’90s are great,” Bayer said. “You go to work, you go on dates, you go to cafes with friends and you all sit facing the camera. Yeah!”
While the SNL cast member was speaking, a faux-peeved Aniston arrived and interrupted Bayer’s impersonation. “Vanessa, what are you doing?” the Horrible Bosses star said. “Can you just drop that for a second. Vanessa, Vanessa, come on.”
