He has a name! Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis named their baby boy Dimitri Portwood, the actor’s website for his digital media company, A Plus, revealed Friday, December 2.
The couple, who married in July 2015 after three years together, welcomed their son Wednesday, November 30. He was born at 1:21 a.m. and weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces, according to A Plus.
Kutcher and Kunis, who are already parents of 2-year-old daughter Wyatt, have yet to show off a photo of their new baby on social media. “We’d like to allow our kids to make their own choices on whether to have a life in the public eye or not,” Kutcher told A Plus about shielding his children. “We don’t want to make the choice for them.”
Back in October, the Jobs actor almost let slip that the That ‘70s Show costars had chosen the name while guest-hosting Live With Kelly. He whispered the name to Kelly Ripa, but didn’t realize his microphone was still on. “No way people heard that,” he said. “I thought it was over! I would have been murdered. The wife would have taken me out!”
The Ranch star also revealed that he suggested the name Hawkeye, but Kunis quickly nixed the idea. “There was a rallying cry from a collective that believed in the name Hawkeye. … I’m an Iowan — to have a kid named Hawkeye [after the University of Iowa mascot] — and it’s, like, MASH,” he told Conan O’Brien last month of the character Benjamin Franklin “Hawkeye” Pierce from the Korean War medical comedy. “He could be a doctor!”
