Michael Lohan’s estranged wife, Kate Major Lohan, was reportedly sentenced to six months behind bars on Monday, November 28, after being arrested last month. According to TMZ, the former reporter was sentenced for violating her probation after allegedly drunkenly attacking a police officer in Florida last month.
"I've made some bad decisions,” Major tells Us Weekly exclusively in a statement. “However, these were isolated incidents away from my children. Unfortunately, my children are the ones suffering. I deeply will regret every moment that has been taken away from us. I pray this ‘process’ goes as quickly as possible.”
Kate and Michael are the parents of sons Landon, 3, and Logan, 23 months. Michael is also the father of Lindsay Lohan.
Kate was arrested in 2015 for allegedly threatening a flight crew while onboard a plane from New Orleans to Los Angeles. She was also arrested after getting into a heated physical argument with Michael in April 2015.
At the time, the 34-year-old told Us Weekly she was “refocusing on [her] sobriety.”
"Kate is just so heartbroken and embarrassed, and she really just wants to keep their family issues private," an insider told Us at the time. "She won’t say anything badly about anyone in the family, and she’s really working hard to get better."
Kate and Michael married in October 2013.
